We're sure you'll love Finca Porto Cristo - it is virtually impossible to convey the unique atmosphere that surrounds this Finca. It sits on the Son Blat estate just a couple of Kilometers from Porto Cristo.
The finca is embedded in rolling hills and sits on a terrain of more than 16,000 sqm made off a green garden with big shadow trees and a pool and over 50 olive trees. The Son Blat estate (over 120,000 sqm) includes 4 fincas and can only be accessed through a gate with a pin code. Your finca is the 3rd finca and the first on the right hand side of the lane. At the entrance is a huge car park. On the ground floor is a kitchen, utility room, living room, dining room and a bedroom (walk-in shower) and there is also a separate guest toilet. In the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms (one with walk-in shower, one with bath tub). Please note we can split the beds and create single beds where needed. There is a lot of wildlife to be observed as well. May - beginning of July our garden is home to many wild turtoises enjoying mulberries falling of the trees. In the sky you will see regularly red kites (big bird of prey) and hoopoes fly around in the estate as well.

You need to include an appreciation for both flora and fauna when visiting Finca Porto Cristo. Not only does the finca have it's own extensive olive grove, it also has a wide variety of trees - which is why it is known in Mallorquin as "the forest" or Es Bosquet. Particularly interesting is the wildlife.
The Mulberry trees produce berries that are very attractive to Tortoises and an entire family of some 8 tortoises, lives wild full-time around the house. They are not the only fascinating creatures - we're also blessed with the occasional Peacock, Whoopoe birds which are quite rare and only seen in southern Europe.
Finca Porto Cristo is in a great location. You're a half hour drive from the famous South East coast with Santany, Es Trenc and the Mondrago nature reserve - and yet you can easily reach Alcudia, Pollensa and famous spots such as Cala Mesquida or Platja de Muro. At the same time, there's a collection of beautiful calas in easy reach - the nearest being Cala Anguila with Cala Mendia and Cala Romantica almost connected. We will be delighted to guide you on places to go and so that meet your tastes but you've everything from boat trips to cave visits and more from this part of Mallorca.
The city of Manacor is only 9 Km away offering shopping opportunities as well as quaint narrow streets to wander around.
Porto Cristo is the closest town (5 min by car) and offers supermarkets (eg. Eroski), bakeries, butchers, petrol stations, car rental etc. Porto Cristo has a beautiful marina nestled along a natural harbour and its own beach. You will find many restaurants along the marina (our favourite is Fusion) but also boat rental places. Don't miss a visit to the Drach caves (not to be confused with the Dinosaur caves) where you see a natural cave system of 1.3 km incl. a lake and a short classical concert performed from of a boat. When we arrive we do a big food shop at Carrefour in Sa Coma which is 12 min by car. The closest and very pretty supervised beach is Cala Anguila (with good restaurant right on the beach - reservation recommended). The next bigger town is Manacor (15 min by car). Good for shopping (drugstores like Mueller, Rossmann). You cann also find one the big perl manufacturer (Orchidea). A must visit is the capital Palma (1 hour by car) which can also be reached easily by bus which departs from Porto Cristo. Food lovers should not miss the fish market and its restaurants (mixed fried fish platters).
